[Release Notes](https://support.swellcx.com/en/knowledge/release-notes?hsLang=en) # Notice of Deprecation for Swell Pay **When will Swell Pay be deprecated?** Swell Pay is being deprecated on June 30, 2023. **Why is Swell Pay being deprecated? ** We want to provide the most value we can to our customers, and we feel the most useful tools we can offer all relate to gathering patient and employee feedback. We feel that text-based payment functionality isn’t a priority for our company compared to the other amazing things we’re building.  **Can I still receive payments? ** You’ll be able to continue receiving payments through Swell Pay up until June 30, 2023. After that, the feature will be unavailable. If you have payment or invoice history that’s stored in Swell Pay, now is the time to make note of it in another system. If you have outstanding invoices, you’ll want to see that those are taken care of as well. **What happens to my Swell Pay data?** Your payment or invoice history will be deleted once Swell Pay is deprecated. You’ll want to make note of payment and invoice history elsewhere. **Will this affect any other Swell functionality?** No. This change solely impacts Swell Pay.  **Are there alternatives to Swell Pay available? ** Yes. For users in the dental space, we suggest using Dental Intelligence as an alternative. For those in other industries, there are dozens of options based on your specific needs. Common accounting tools like Quickbooks, Wave, and others have a built-in ability to create invoice payment links, which you can send using Swell Message. This way, you can continue to benefit from the review and messaging tools from Swell, while still being able to send payment links.
