How to integrate your Google Business listing with Swell
Integrating your Google Business Profile with Swell is crucial for enabling several of Swell's core features, including responding to Google reviews from your Swell account, utilizing AI and automated replies, and accessing the most accurate, real-time review reporting for your practice.
To connect your Google Business Profile, follow these steps:
- In your Swell dashboard, navigate to Settings > Locations.
- Click the Edit (pencil) icon next to the location you want to connect.
- Click the Connect Accounts tab, then click Connect My Google Business Account.
- When prompted, sign in using the account that owns and manages your Google Business listing.
- ❗Important: To successfully integrate, you must use the same login that has full administrative access to your Google Business listing.
- Enable all requested permissions. Rest assured, Swell won't make any changes to your listing. These permissions will simply allow functionality for some of Swell's key features.

Once connected, return to the Connect Accounts tab. You should now see the Google Business Profile you just linked.

Click Connect Location to Start Sync. A new window will appear displaying all the locations managed under your Google Business Profile.
- Note: If there are no locations displayed after connecting, the login used most likely does not have the necessary permissions enabled for managing your Google listing.

Select the location under your Google business profile that matches the Swell location you're connecting to. Once connected, it may take up to 24 hours to fully sync.
