- Generate summaries and common themes from reviews using AI
Connect and Map a Google My Business Account
To connect your Google My Business account, you will need to connect the account and map your Google My Business locations with Swell locations. This will provide the Swell platform with the context it needs to accurately report on your account’s reviews.
- Navigate to Settings > Integration Settings > Integrations
- Click the Google My Business tile.
- Click the Mappings tab.
- Click the Connect GMB Account button.
- A Google dialog box will open. Select the Google account associated with the Google My Business account that you wish to connect. This may require you to log in to your Google account.
- Important: To successfully integrate, this must be the same login that owns and has full administrative access to your Google Business listing.
- Once you have connected a Google My Business account, you should see it listed under Connected GMB Accounts.
- Click the name of the Google My Business account that you just connected.
- Each of the locations associated with your Google My Business account will be listed in a table. For each location, you will need to either select the corresponding Swell location from the dropdown in the Swell Location column or leave it unmapped. Unmapped locations will not have their review data pulled into Swell.
- When you have finished, click the Save button in the top right corner of the page.
Once the mapping is complete, you will be able to review the review sync status in the Health tab.
Sync Locations Manually
If a location’s review count has gotten out of sync with Google, you can force a manual update by syncing manually.
- Navigate to Settings > Integration Settings > Integrations > Google My Business
- In the Health tab, click the checkbox next to the name of the location or locations you wish to sync manually
